Conservative says their MPP allowance scheme “common practice” and “generally known”: NDP says pay it back

Doug Ford’s Conservatives used their MPP riding associations as personal ATMs, pocketing over $120,000 since 2018.

And yesterday, one Conservative MPP admitted it is “common practice” that was “something that was generally known” in their party.

Does anyone in Ontario believe Doug Ford didn’t know?

The Conservatives knew about the pocketed top-ups, knew taking them wouldn’t pass the smell test, and allowed it anyway.

They need to pay it back - and send the $120,000 to Ontario charities.
